The test covers verbal ability, numerical ability and non-verbal ability.
Each paper is approximately 50 minutes in duration and will be divided into timed sections, and instructions will be given on an audio soundtrack. Most questions are multiple choice and all answers are marked on a separate machine-readable answer sheet. There will be a short break between the two test papers. |

Chelmsford County High School for Girls (CCHS)
CCHS admissions policy states `Applicants who wish to attend an entrance test for another school being held on the same day as the CCHS Entrance Test will not be permitted to sit the CCHS Entrance Test on an alternative day. This will not be deemed as an exceptional circumstance.`
Structure of the Test
The 2021 Entrance Test was supplied by CEM and comprised of 2 papers, each split in to 4 sections. Paper 1 sections had 28, 19, 21 and 16 questions and Paper 2 had 24, 24, 32 and 16 questions. A total of 180 questions and all answers were multiple choice.
